Hi everyone, we are finally back in the water with our wallets lighter and spirits up. About the time we finally got finished with the repair yard, one of these things called a Nor’easter up here blew in. It has been cold, windy and rainy for days now. There was a brief break in the weather yesterday and we took North Star down to Tide’s End for fuel and pumping out. As you can see from the photo, we are all freezing…being from Florida an all. (I think I had most everything I own on in the photo) BTW, it was 80 here when we pulled the boat out of the water.
The boys seem to be adapting pretty well. Finally starting to understand that this isn’t camp, it is now a way of life and that means school everyday.
My mom, sister and her husband are due here in a couple of hours. They are going to stay with us for the night then they are headed on to Ohio and we are leaving for Hampton, VA.
Hello to everyone back home and at Idlewild. We think about you often and still are receiving the prayer list to keep up. Please keep us in your prayers as well.
That’s it for now….until next time.
